Dental Nurse / Trainee Dental Nurse

We are seeking a Dental Nurse to join our clients' friendly team across three practices in Orkney. Trainee applicants are also warmly welcomed.
The practices are long-standing parts of the local community, known for providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and professional environment - where you can grow your skills and enjoy a rewarding career!
Hours: Full-time, 4 days per week Schedule: 8:00am – 5:30pm, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday No evening or weekend hours.

Trainee Dental Nurse:

£11.30/hr including island allowance (20 and under)

£13.01/hr including island allowance (21+)
*
Qualified Dental Nurse: From £15.05/hr including island allowance
Role Overview
You will support clinicians chairside and contribute to the smooth running of daily practice operations. Key duties include:

Welcoming patients and helping create a calm, reassuring atmosphere,

Maintaining accurate patient records using the practice management system,
*
Preparing surgeries for each session and ensuring efficient workflow,
*
Anticipating clinician and patient needs, including equipment and lab work,
*
Managing surgery stock levels,
*
Assisting with reception tasks such as appointment booking and payment handling,
