* Assist in *food preparation and cooking* according to recipes and standards * Support the Chef de Partie in running a *specific kitchen section* * Ensure *quality, presentation, and consistency* of dishes * Maintain *cleanliness and hygiene standards* (food safety, storage, labeling) * Help with *stock control* and report shortages * Prepare ingredients (cutting, marinating, portioning) * Work efficiently during *busy service periods* * Support and guide *commis chefs or junior staff* * Follow instructions from senior chefs (Sous Chef / Head Chef)

*Skills Required*

* Basic to intermediate cooking skills (grill, sauté, prep, etc.) * Good *time management & organisation* * Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen * Strong *teamwork and communication* * Knowledge of *food hygiene & safety* * Attention to detail in plating and taste * 1–3 years kitchen experience (often as a Commis Chef) * Culinary training (preferred but not always required) * Food safety certification (Level 2 often expected in the UK, if not could be provide the training for it .)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50 per hour
