This dual-aspect role is very fast paced and encompasses a number of different tasks, with no two days the same. Training will be provided on product and industry specifics, as well as comprehensive training and support in regards to our internal processes.

The main aspect of the role is delivery driving to our local customers, approximately within a 60 mile radius of the branch. Full driving license is therefore required and a clean license is therefore of course preferential but not mandatory. Vehicles are typical white van size, nothing larger. Driving is generally pre-agreed days per week, with additional cover during busy periods or when there is holiday / absenteeism.

The other aspect of the role involves working in the warehouse with goods received and stock control, as well as arranging for goods to be picked and suitably packaged for despatch. This could be via our own vehicles, or via external courier whereby the goods will need to be either boxed or secured on pallets. In addition to this, the role also includes tinting (adding colour pigment to a base material) by operating our automatic dispensing machinery - comprehensive training will be provided.

The role is about 70% driving and 30% warehousing.

It's also important that any individual is a good communicator and able to work with colleagues to ensure local stocks are well maintained and to ultimately facilitate orders in a timely fashion to our customers - with this aspect can be a level of administration / computer work. Training will be provided.

Due to having customer collections, all team members are expected to be able to take a basic enquiry from a customer and again display our ALERTT values whilst doing so
