As a Decorator, you will be responsible for a variety of decorating tasks across our premises, ensuring a high standard of finish and maintaining the aesthetic appeal.
The decorating team is crucial to the upkeep and presentation across our state-of-the-art properties by ensuring a welcoming environment for our visitors.
You will work both independently and as part of a small team, managing your workload efficiently and to a high standard.
- Proven experience as a painter and decorator or an expert in high-end residential property development.
- Proficiency in a range of decorating techniques and the ability to use associated tools and equipment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices within a building environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to interpret and execute intricate design briefs and specifications.
- NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating.
- Preparing surfaces for painting and decorating, including filling cracks, sanding, and priming.
- Applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and woodwork using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- Adhering to decorating specifications and instructions.
- Carrying out minor repairs to plasterwork and woodwork as required.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Working collaboratively with other members of the Facilities team.
