Paralegal / Support Lawyer – Debt Capital Markets (6+ Month Contract)

We are working with a leading global law firm to recruit a Paralegal / Support Lawyer to join its Transactional (Debt Capital Markets) team on a 6 month contract. There is a very strong likelihood the contract will be extended past the initial 6 month period.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a Magic Circle environment, supporting complex, high-value transactional work while working closely with senior stakeholders and clients.

The Role

As a Paralegal / Support Lawyer, you will:

• Support a busy Debt Capital Markets practice on transactional matters
• Work closely with lawyers and clients, providing high-quality legal and operational support
• Assist with documentation, coordination and delivery of transactions
• Operate in a fast-paced environment requiring accuracy, organisation and autonomy
• Deliver exceptional client service while managing competing deadlines

About You

You will ideally have:

• 2+ years’ transactional legal experience, with a focus on Debt Capital Markets
• Experience engaging with and supporting senior stakeholders
• LPC, SQE, or UK/foreign qualification (or equivalent)
• The ability to work autonomously, adapt quickly and remain resilient under pressure
• Strong organisational skills with excellent written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail, strong technical ability and a proactive work ethic
• Flexibility to work longer hours when required
