Job Description: Data Solution Architect – Migration Specialist

Experience: 10+ years in Data Architecture and Migration

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Solution Architect with proven experience in designing and implementing data migration strategies. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end data migration projects, ensuring seamless transition of data across platforms while maintaining integrity, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design: Architect scalable and secure data solutions for migration projects. Define data models, integration patterns, and migration frameworks. Migration Strategy: Develop and execute migration plans for on-premise to cloud or cross-cloud environments. Ensure minimal downtime and data consistency during migration. Technical Leadership: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide guidance to development and data engineering teams. Performance & Compliance: Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.

Required Skills

Strong experience in data architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling. Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data migration tools (Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Talend, etc.). Proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop). Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse). Familiarity with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Event Hub). Certifications in Azure/AWS/GCP Data Architect or related fields. Strong communication skills Experience of working across geographies.
