About the role

We are recruiting for a Data Scientist to be accountable for the delivery of sophisticated data science solutions ensuring adherence to governance standards, policies and regulatory guidelines. Working closely with business functions to understand their challenges and opportunities, the Data Scientist will apply their curiosity and enthusiasm for data to create solutions in support of member outcomes and the Societys strategic plan.

The person in post will be recognised as an expert in Data Science and will use their knowledge to prepare, model and engineer data, develop sophisticated models and present progress and results using compelling data visualisations and story-telling techniques.

To be successful in this role its essential that you will have: A strong understanding of statistical concepts, such as probability theory, regression or Bayesian statistics.
