A global consultancy is seeking a Data Scientist to join its internal transformation team focused on delivering AI-driven solutions across tax and legal services. This is a contract role within a high-performing data and AI group, offering exposure to cutting-edge generative AI technologies and the opportunity to contribute to impactful service delivery innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n Design and deploy Python-based AI applications for internal use \n

Conduct R&D on generative AI techniques including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented \n

Build agentic systems and LLM-assisted frameworks using modern orchestration tools \n

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions \n

Maintain high standards of code quality, documentation, and testing \n

Develop evaluation pipelines and ensure robust quality control across deployments \n

\n\n

Essential Skills and Experience:

\n

\n Advanced Python programming skills with experience in libraries such as Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Langchain, LlamaIndex \n

Deep expertise in Azure and its AI services, including Azure AI Foundry \n

Hands-on experience with GenAI techniques: prompt orchestration, retrieval methods (RAG, knowledge graphs), agentic frameworks (LangGraph, Semantic Kernel Agents) \n

Familiarity with software engineering best practices: version control, testing, deployment \n

Ability to collaborate with AI engineers and translate prototypes into scalable solutions \n

Desirable Skills:

\n Experience optimizing workflows and building scalable AI pipelines \n

Strong data analytics and visualization capabilities (Excel, Alteryx) \n

Understanding of Responsible AI principles and practices \n
