We are a value business, focused on making gyms and fitness accessible to as many people as possible. Data is at the heart of how we run our business, starting from where to open our gyms, through what we offer within them through to how we engage with past, current, and future members. Combining the data from our 2.5 million plus members with data about locations, operations, and performance allows us to unlock industry leading insights and drive a better member experience and commercial performance.
Data is a core competitive advantage to use as market leader, helping us guide decisions at scale and personalisation at the member level. To unlock the value of data, PureGym has built a Group Insights & Analytics function, comprised of a Data Engineering team, a Data Science team and an Insights team, recognising the importance of close collaboration of data teams to quickly and efficiently deliver business value.
Our cloud-based technology stack builds on Azure Databricks to ensure data is reliably and easily available to the business and creates value. As we continue to grow, we are moving towards a group data platform and are looking for someone to drive product approach to data and its usage across PureGym.
