Data & ML Architect Newcastle (Hybrid)Data & AI Architects if youre looking to step into a role where you can shape enterprise-scale data and AI strategy, this is a standout opportunity.Im working with a leading Advanced Technology team delivering large-scale data and AI transformation programmes across both public and private sector clients.??Newcastle (3 days onsite)??Salary: Competitive (DOE)??Must be eligible for SC ClearanceThe role:Youll take ownership of the design and architecture of enterprise data platforms and AI solutions, helping define how data and machine learning capabilities are built, scaled, and governed across complex environments.This is a strategic, hands-on architecture role combining technical leadership with client-facing influence.What youll have the opportunity to work on:Designing enterprise-scale data & AI architectures Shaping data strategy, governance, and engineering standards Leading architecture for ML, AI, and emerging GenAI solutions Overseeing MLOps and model lifecycle design (production AI at scale) Working across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Engaging with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps Mentoring engineers and promoting technical excellence across teams What were looking for:8+ years experience in data architecture / engineering / AI roles Strong background in data platforms, distributed systems, and cloud architecture Experience designing or overseeing ML / AI solutions in production Strong understanding of data modelling, governance, and large-scale systems Experience in client-facing or consulting environments Ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders at senior level Whats in it for you:Hybrid working 3 days per week in Newcastle 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Private medical insurance 3 additional volunteering days per year Opportunity to shape enterprise AI and data strategy at scale Work within a global network of senior technology experts Strong focus on career progression, leadership, and continuous learning ??
