The Purpose of the role: This role supports the Operations Team by delivering data analysis and business insights to drive performance and improvement. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, youll also develop technical solutions (e.g. QlikSense, PowerApps) to enhance reporting and decision-making and coach a Business Transformation Analyst. Youll also help prioritise and deliver transformation projects in collaboration with key stakeholders. Working as Data & Fresh Commercial Analyst you will: Manage waste and fresh participation budgets and reporting. Produce routine accurate, value-adding reports and presentations to support decision-making. Identify data trends, conduct analysis, and recommend actions. Drive improvements in operational performance, systems, and reporting processes. Maintain SharePoint tasks and support team users. Support retail conferences and store training as needed. Maintain strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships. Coach and support the Business Transformation Analyst. Lead project management of the transformation roadmap. Develop and maintain solutions in QlikSense, PowerApps, and SharePoint. Design interactive dashboards and reports based on user needs. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data and transformation initiatives. Oversee UAT, change management, and system governance. Maintain technical documentation and train end users. Resolve business issues through collaboration and continuous improvement. Skills for Success Joining us as Data & Fresh Commercial Analyst the minimum criteria youll need is: Previous experience working in a commercial environment. Experience of Microsoft Office suite of products with a key focus on Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, SUMIF, SUMIFS, producing charts and tables) Skilled in data analysis and numerical reporting to deliver clear, evidence-based, and actionable insights and analysis Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines Full valid UK/EU driving licence and have access to a car The Attributes youll need include: Strong coaching and communication skills to support both non-technical and technical users Strong problem-solving capabilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Good ability to build & maintain relationships. Excellent attention to detail It is Desirable if you have: A third-level degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, or coach colleagues Proven experience in delivering digital transformation initiatives, business process improvements, and project implementation. Relevant certifications in data analysis, business intelligence, or commercially focused disciplines. Are we right for you? This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Hybrid and flexible working arrangement available.
