This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-growing, future-proof industry, offering exposure to cutting-edge technology and clear progression into HVAP or leadership roles.Working a continental shift pattern, youll be part of a team responsible for maintaining a mission-critical environment where reliability and performance are key.What Youll Be Doing:Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across critical M&E systemsWorking on systems including UPS, generators, HVAC, AHUs, FCUs and associated plantSupporting HV/LV switching operations and site shutdown activitiesMonitoring plant performance via BMS and responding to alarms/faultsManaging subcontractors and assisting with quotes, parts procurement and job completionEnsuring compliance with health & safety procedures, permits to work, and risk assessmentsMaintaining accurate site logbooks and documentationWhat Were Looking For:Electrically or mechanically qualified engineer (18th Edition or equivalent preferred)Experience in commercial, industrial, or critical environmentsStrong understanding of building services / M&E maintenanceExperience of HV/LV Switching DesirableFamiliarity with permit-to-work systems and safe systems of workAbility to work effectively within a shift team in a high-pressure environmentPrevious data centre experience is beneficial but not essentialSalary & Benefits:Up to £55,000.00 basic salaryPlenty of overtime availableContinental shift pattern (12-hour days & nights)20 days annual leaveFull uniform and tools providedOngoing training and development (HVAP/LVAP, ILM, CNet and more)Clear progression pathways into senior and authorised rolesLong-term opportunity within a stable and rapidly growing sectorThis is an excellent opportunity for engineers looking to break into or progress within the data centre industry, gaining exposure to critical infrastructure and advancing their career in a highly sought-after sector.JBRP1_UKTJ
