Start Date: ASAPAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Damp and Mould Surveyor to support a local authority/social housing provider in addressing damp, mould, and condensation issues across their housing stock in the Dorset region. This is a critical role focused on ensuring resident safety, compliance with housing regulations (including Awaab's Law and the Housing Health and Safety Rating System - HHSRS), and delivering high-quality remedial solutions.The successful candidate will work independently, conducting surveys in tenants' homes and communal areas, diagnosing issues, specifying works, and overseeing remediation to completion.Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections and surveys of properties to identify and diagnose causes of damp, mould, and condensation (including rising damp, penetrating damp, and lifestyle-related factors).
Assess hazards under the HHSRS framework and prioritise cases based on severity and health risks.
