A
unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Endpoint Security Engineer to
lead the strategic design, selection, implementation and deployment of the
technologies used to manage the end user computing environments at the
University with a strategic focus on device security controls. The successful
applicant will manage the delivery of multiple services based on modern
Microsoft Endpoint Management tools including the implementation of Mobile
Device Management.

 


The postholder will be responsible for defining the
strategic design of the service, working closely with the wider University
community to deliver a world leading service. The postholder will work within
the End User Computing team, collaborating with the Cybersecurity team to strengthen the security posture of
University-owned digital assets by implementing and continuously improving
secure build configurations across all University-managed devices by adopting
CIS Benchmarks, Attack Surface Reduction (ASR) rules, and Intune-based policy
enforcement.


This role requires engagement with both technical and
non-technical stakeholders from across the University and liaison with the
various service desks across the campus. Excellent communication skills are
essential.
