This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional seeking to take their first step to into building a career in cyber security or a current cyber security professional looking to develop their skillset.The successful candidate will be part of a small and ambitious team, which provides a great platform to grow and develop. Full training and mentorship will be provided and the successful candidate will be supported to gain a range of cyber security certifications.As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will help organisations to improve their security posture. You will be key to helping organisations achieve Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications and will also have the opportunity to help drive the development of the business and its core service offerings. Key responsibilities include:Delivering Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus assessments for new and existing clientsConducting vulnerability assessments, workstation/server security build reviews and MS 365 security reviews.Maintaining a proactive approach to service delivery and effectively managing a busy workloadProviding clear communication to clients throughout the end-to-end service delivery processAssisting with penetration testing activities such as open-source intelligence gatheringSupporting the growth and development of the businessWho We're Looking For:The following skills and experience are essential for the role:3 years or more of general IT or cyber security experienceReal passion for cyber security and the enthusiasm to learn moreGood written and verbal communication skillsGood understanding of networking, including how the OSI model worksProficiency with modern Microsoft Windows operating systemsIn addition, the following would be desirable:Experience conducting vulnerability scanning or using Nessus/QualysExperience with ISO 27001 or IASME Cyber AssuranceCertifications such as OSCP, CEH, Comptia Security+/Network+, CREST, CISMLinux and Windows command line experienceWhat We Can Offer:Up to £40,000 salary (DOE)Performance bonusCompany pension25 days annual leave (plus birthday day & bank holidays)Regular team meals and activities (e.g, go karting,crazy golfand Go Ape)Budget and support to achieve cyber security certifications #J-18808-Ljbffr
