Cyber Security Associate Director

As an Associate Director within Technology and Cyber Risk Assurance at RSM UK, you will be responsible for advising clients on cyber security strategy, programmes, resilience, controls, compliance, and emerging technology. You will benefit from ongoing coaching, career mentoring, and support from the TRA career pathway. You will make an impact by leading and coaching high‑performing teams, providing high‑value delivery, and driving external market activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop client relationships by creating proposals that demonstrate our capability to meet new and existing client needs.
  • Be responsible for client relationships in conjunction with the Partners to ensure our work adds value and is delivered timely and profitably.
  • Be responsible for the ongoing management of cyber services, including capability development and quality assurance of work and reporting.
  • Lead and coach high-performing teams, resource management, recruitment, and development for team members.
  • Provide high-value and quality delivery to clients by leading teams that provide specialist cyber services and advice.
  • Drive external market activities and identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience delivering cyber security assurance and advisory services.
  • Have a strong external profile and extensive network of contacts across industry.
  • Proven experience of winning new business and leveraging existing client relationships.
  • Experience of creating and developing client relationships to win work and increase revenue.
  • Experience of creating new business proposals and responding to RFPs, etc.
  • Experience in managing engagements end-to-end in a professional service context.
  • Experience of delivering security leadership services such as vCISO.
  • Business- and commercial-minded in your approach.
  • Passionate to continue your career in technology, cyber, risk management, and provide defensive and offensive cyber services to clients.
