Customer Service Advisor\nLocation: Northampton \nOffice: Onsite – Monday to Friday\nType: Full-time\nSalary: Up to £27,000 p/a + Bonuses\n\n Our client is a leading B2B organisation who is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Advisor to join its expanding team. \n\n About the Role\n\n The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and efficient order management. This position involves providing reliable and transparent support to customers, ensuring enquiries are handled promptly and professionally.\n\n Key Responsibilities\n\nHandling customer enquiries via phone, email, and online chat\nProcessing orders accurately and efficiently\nPreparing and following up on sales quotations\nMaintaining and updating customer and supplier databases\nSupporting both sales and administrative teams\nManaging customer payments and transactionsCandidate Profile\n\nTakes initiative, provides solutions, and follows tasks through to completion\nLooks for opportunities to learn, grow, and share knowledge with colleagues\nDelivers high-quality work, maintaining high standards\nApproaches challenges creatively while considering the wider customer and business impact\nCommunicates clearly, collaborates effectively, and remains organised and reliable\nWorks well with colleagues to achieve shared goalsSkills & Experience Required\n\nExcellent written and verbal English communication skills\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and customer service abilities\nGood commercial awareness and strong attention to detail\nA proactive self-starter with strong work ethic and ambition to progress\nMinimum 2–3 years’ telephone-based customer service experienceBenefits\n\n28 days holiday including Bank Holidays\nCash health plan and pension scheme\nChristmas shutdown\n24-hour GP advice line, counselling, legal and financial helplines\nDiscounts for cinema, restaurants, and high street retailers\nOpportunities for progression and increased responsibility\nOngoing training and career development\nAnnual performance-based bonus opportunities
