Customer Sales Team Leader

About The Role
The Customer Sales Team Leader will lead our internal team to ensure high levels of sales conversion and customer satisfaction are achieved by driving successful commercial outcomes through service excellence, insight led performance management and proactive coaching to embed best practice sales behaviours.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and inspiring your team of Customer Sales Advisors to meet and exceed sales targets and service KPIs
- Driving and delivering quote-to-order conversion performance and monitoring key sales metrics across the team
- Providing coaching on upselling, cross-selling, objection handling, and commercial value creation
- Analysing and sharing insight from customer interactions to support proposition improvement
- Overseeing daily workflow management in C4C to ensure leads, quotes and orders are handled with urgency and accuracy
- Collaborating with Sales, Marketing and Product teams to align activity and share customer intelligence
- Championing First Time Resolution and drive improvements in the end-to-end order process
- Documenting and processing standard customer and sales process to improve customer experience
- Managing teams open order management and customer communications
- Supporting commercial compliance (pricing, discounting, bundling) and coaching on appropriate application
- Owning team development and performance management through feedback, 1:1s, L&D plans and peer coaching
- Driving participation in sales pilots, campaigns, continuous improvement sprints, and new initiatives

- Essential
- Proven experience in Sales or Contact Centre team leadership
- Strong commercial awareness and sales conversion focus
- Working knowledge of quote/ order lifecycle
- Experience managing performance against KPIs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven experience in Sales or Contact Centre team leadership
- Desirable
- Experience within a B2B environment
- Understanding of Arco’s products and customer sectors
- Proficiency in SAP C4C or CRM tools
- Familiarity with commercial levers (e.g. pricing, promotions)
- Experience supporting pilot projects or process redesign
- Experience within a B2B environment
