Customer Care Operative\n Peterborough & Surrounding Areas\n Up to £40,000 DOE\n\nWe’re looking for a hands-on, customer-focused professional to join our team as a Customer Care Operative. You’ll be the face of our aftercare service, ensuring every customer receives a high-quality resolution to any remedial works — with professionalism, efficiency, and a smile.\n\nWhat you’ll be doing:\n\n * \n\n Organising and managing your own workload to deliver top-quality remedial works on time, in line with agreed SLA’s.\n\n * \n\n Carrying out all works to the highest standard, ensuring full compliance with our Customer Care procedures.\n\n * \n\n Keeping costs under control and following our sign-off and cost-recording processes, while spotting any opportunities for contra-charging.\n\n * \n\n Updating all job details via our Operative App, ensuring accurate defect tracking and root cause analysis.\n\n * \n\n Liaising with subcontractors when needed, inspecting reported defects, and keeping both customers and the office team fully informed.\n\n * \n\n Working safely and in line with our Health, Safety & Environmental policies, ensuring best practice at all times.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\n * \n\n Solid experience in homeowner maintenance, with skills in both painting and joinery.\n\n * \n\n Comfortable maintaining and using a range of tools and machinery.\n\n * \n\n Great communication and customer service skills — you know how to keep customers informed and reassured.\n\n * \n\n PASMA certificate (advantageous, but not essential).\n\n * \n\n First Aid qualification (advantageous).\n\n * \n\n Competent with Microsoft Office.\n\n * \n\n Current CSCS Card.\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence.\n\nWhat we offer:\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary up to £40,000 DOE\n\n * \n\n Company vehicle and tools provided\n\n * \n\n Supportive, team-focused working environment\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to work across a variety of sites in and around Peterborough\n\nIf you’re a skilled operative who takes pride in your work and thrives on delivering great customer service, we’d love to hear from you
