Reporting to: Customer Services Manager

An opportunity has arisen to join the Customer Services team as a Customer Care Inspection Manager, based in the East of England.


The Role

You will be responsible for managing client inspection works on behalf of the Customer Services team, identifying any required remedial works across developments and ensuring the ongoing quality of homes post-completion.

Working closely with the Customer Services team, you will carry out fair and thorough assessments of defects reported by customers, ensuring all works are completed within agreed timescales and in line with established service level agreements.

You will also liaise with NHBC on technical requirements, attend resolutions, and support insurance claims as required.


Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake customer and client inspections to identify remedial works

  • Assess reported defects fairly and accurately

  • Ensure remedial works are completed within agreed timescales and SLAs

  • Maintain ongoing quality standards of completed homes

  • Liaise with NHBC on technical matters, resolutions, and insurance claims

  • Maintain accurate records and uphold client and company confidentiality


About You
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the housebuilding sector is essential

  • Strong knowledge of NHBC Technical Requirements and Guidelines

  • Proven experience dealing directly with customers across multiple communication channels

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • Strong administrative ability with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Professional, discreet, and committed to confidentiality
