Job Title: Crushing & Screening Engineer
Location: Midlands – Birmingham / Coventry / Leicester
Pay: £19.00 – £25.00 per hour (£60,000)

The company supports quarrying, aggregates, recycling, and demolition operations throughout the region, providing expert service and maintenance on a wide range of mobile crushers and screeners.

Role Summary

As a Crushing & Screening Engineer, you will cover the Midlands region, delivering field-based service, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair support on mobile crushing and screening equipment.

This position is heavily focused on crushers and screeners, requiring strong mechanical and hydraulic diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently across quarry, recycling, and construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site servicing, fault finding, and repairs on mobile crushers and screeners.

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical faults.

  • Carry out scheduled maintenance and preventative servicing.

  • Support commissioning, set-up, and handovers of crushing and screening equipment.

  • Optimise equipment performance to minimise downtime.

  • Accurately complete service documentation and parts usage reports.

  • Work closely with parts and service teams to ensure efficient job turnaround.

  • Maintain high health & safety standards across all Midlands customer sites.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience working on mobile crushing and screening equipment (jaw, cone, impact crushers and screeners).

  • Strong mechanical and hydraulic diagnostic capability.

  • Background in quarrying, aggregates, recycling, or heavy plant sectors.

  • Ability to manage your own diary and travel across the Midlands region.

  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
