Criminology Lead Teacher
Job Type: Part-time (potential full-time)

Collingwood College is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Criminology Lead Teacher to join our Humanities team. This part-time role offers the opportunity to become full-time for candidates who can also teach an additional Humanities subject such as Sociology, History, Geography, or RE.
Day-to-day of the role:
Lead the delivery and development of Criminology, ensuring high-quality teaching and strong student outcomes.
Engage and inspire learners with a curriculum that fosters a passion for criminological thinking.
Teach Criminology at KS4 and/or KS5, depending on experience.
Lead curriculum planning and assessment within Criminology.
Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise achievement.
Contribute to the wider Humanities department.
For full-time consideration: teach an additional Humanities subject.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Criminology.
Strong understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements.
Excellent classroom practice and behaviour management skills.
Collaborative and proactive approach to teaching and leadership.
Ability to teach an additional Humanities subject (desirable for full-time applicants).
