CRIMINAL JUSTICE RECOVERY WORKER- LINCOLNSHIRE RECOVERY PARTNERSHIP, PERMANENT, 37 HRS, £25,870 - £30,265, FTE
Please Note: A Full UK Driving License and Access to a Vehicle is an Essential Requirement.
You will be required to use your own car to travel between sites on a daily basis (mileage will be paid)
Please note, this role is co-located atLRPs Skegness hub and Skegness probation offices.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership Substance Use Services as a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker in our Skegness office. Within the role you will focus on partnership working with Lincolnshire Police to engage those arrested with drug and alcohol issues into treatment and deliver brief interventions to those receiving Police cautions and other out-of-court disposals. Your passion and engagement at this early stage will make a real difference in preventing escalation in substance use and offending.

Role Responsibility
As a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker you will work flexibly across Lincolnshire Recovery Partnership supporting individuals who are arrested for drug and alcohol related offending. You will see them in the custody suite, delivering brief interventions and engaging them into treatment.
You will also be the lead Recovery Worker for our Out of Court Disposals. Similar to speed awareness sessions, you will deliver between one and six sessions predominantly in groups (including online groups) aiming to prevent escalation in substance use and offending
Day-to-day you will work alongside an Advanced Practitioner, another Recovery Worker and an administrator under the guidance of our Criminal Justice Team Manager and Team Leader. You will also work very closely with Police and NHS Liaison and Diversion colleagues within the custody suites.

The successful candidate will be a highly effective communicator, efficient and organised and have a real passion for supporting service users to engage in treatment. You must be engaging, enthusiastic and passionate, have a keen interest in the Criminal Justice System and willingness to work with offenders to help turn their lives around is a must.
