This is an exciting opportunity for an analytically minded professional who thrives on precision, enjoys working with modern data tools, and wants tomake a genuine impact within a growing organisation.About the role This is a highly analytical and strategically important position, responsible for managing credit risk data, maintaining portfolio integrity, and delivering meaningful insights to support senior decision-making. The successful candidate will:Monitor and maintain loan portfolio data, ensuring accuracy, reconciliation and data integrityDevelop and enhance credit scoring, stress testing and impairment models (including IFRS9 and ICAAP)Identify early warning indicators and recommend risk mitigation strategiesProduce regulatory and internal reporting, including PRA Loan Book Data returnsUtilise advanced analytics tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI and TableauContribute to automation, process improvement and data quality enhancementsSupport cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Risk, IT and ComplianceAssist with credit committee administration and strategic analytical projectsContribute to the development of practical AI applications within CreditWhat we are looking for The ideal candidate will bring a blend of credit risk expertise, advanced data skills and meticulous attention to detail.Essential experience includes:35 years experience within financial services, banking or a credit functionStrong credit risk and portfolio management experience, including early warning identification and mitigationAdvanced Excel skills, including complex modellingStrong SQL and Python capabilityExperience in data validation, reconciliation and regulatory reportingA highly analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detailWhat's in if for you£50,£65,000 dependant experiencePermanent, stable opportunity within a growing organisationHybrid working initially office-based, then up to 2 days from home4-day week Modern, evolving data environmentOnsite training and developmentAllocated onsite parkingA collaborative, socially engaged team cultureGenuine opportunity to grow through projects and strategic involvement01892 571105 \"In application for this role, you are consenting to TN Recruits Ltd retaining your details to secure you work.
