Location: Lenton, Nottingham Salary: £28,000 – £29,000 DOE Type: Permanent | Fully Onsite Astute Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a well-established business based in the Lenton area of Nottingham, who are seeking an experienced standalone Credit Controller to take full ownership of their credit control function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive Credit Controller who enjoys working independently and taking responsibility for the full B2B credit control process within a busy, fast-paced environment. The Role As the sole Credit Controller within the business, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debt and maintaining strong customer relationships across a B2B ledger. Key responsibilities include: Full ownership of B2B credit control processesProactively chasing overdue debt via phone, email, and written communicationManaging and maintaining aged debt reportsAllocating payments and reconciling customer accountsResolving invoice queries and disputes efficientlyLiaising with internal departments to resolve billing issuesBuilding strong relationships with key business customersSupporting cash flow through effective debt recovery strategiesRegular reporting on debtor performance You will ideally have: Previous experience in B2B credit control (essential)Strong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to manage a high-volume ledger independentlyExperience handling aged debt and account reconciliationGood attention to detail and strong numerical abilityConfident telephone manner when chasing paymentsAbility to work fully onsite in a standalone role About You We are looking for a confident Credit Controller who can work independently and manage their own workload effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
