As part of this firms continued expansion, they're looking for a confident, proactive Credit Controller to join their Bristol office.The RoleWorking within our established credit management team, you'll take ownership of an assigned ledger and be responsible for effective cash collection across a diverse client base. You'll build strong internal and external relationships, contribute to monthly reporting, and play a key role in maintaining healthy cashflow.Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve and exceed monthly cash collection targetsManage a portfolio of internal and external clientsBuild and maintain strong professional relationshipsFollow up on unidentified payments and resolve invoice queriesContact clients to confirm invoice receipt and payment datesMaintain accurate communication records using our credit management systemReconcile accounts where requiredEscalate potential debtor issues early to the Credit ManagerMeet with internal stakeholders to review aged debt and discuss concernsDeliver an exceptional, client-focused debt recovery serviceSupport with daily credit control letters and statementsReduce exposure to bad debt while maintaining client satisfactionComply with internal procedures and contribute to wider finance team goalsWhat you'll need to succeed Strong prioritisation skills with a focus on maximising cash collectionGood understanding of money laundering requirements and regulatory environmentsConfident communicator with a professional, assured approachStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to build effective relationships with partners, fee earners and support teamsHighly organised, detail-driven and able to work independentlyA collaborative team player with excellent time managementWhat you'll get in return Hybrid WorkingYou'll have access to tailored training, supportive line management and clear progression pathways.
