OverviewOur client has a full-time vacancy for a Credit Controller, reporting to the Treasury and Financial Accountant. The role exists to ensure that the cash flow is received on a timely basis following the issue of a valid sales invoice.You can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.The role is working hybrid, with two days per week being office based and three days remote working. You will be working 37 hours per week. This role is offered as a temporary position, initially for 3 months.ResponsibilitiesMonitor accounts on the sales ledgers to ensure the prompt collection of monies. This will involve frequent contact by telephone as well as email and letter.Establish and maintain good customer relations with account holders at all levels.Follow up queries raised on invoices from customers, contacting relevant colleagues for information and instructions where necessary.Advise when any problems arise, specifically with regard to accounts which show signs of delinquency or of becoming a bad debt.Allocate credit balances and credit notes where necessary.Produce statements and reminder letters for all allocated customers on a regular basis.Produce management reporting information on a monthly basis for use in Heads of Department meetings, and provide a list of accounts requiring provisions or write-offs at the end of each Financial Year.Assist Internal and External Auditors as required.Assist with the correct allocation of BACS receipts and cash or cheques received against customer accounts and review receipt items on suspense accounts regularly to identify possible invoice payments.RequirementsExcellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues. You will enjoy working as part of a close-knit team and taking responsibility for your allocated accounts.High level of attention to detail and intermediate skills in Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) are highly desirable.Experience in a credit control environment.Remote working/work at home options are available for this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
