Description
Oversee the credit control process and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
Monitor customer accounts and assess credit risks to minimise financial exposure.
Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
Liaise with clients and internal departments to resolve payment issues promptly.
Provide regular reports on cash flow, debtors, and account statuses to senior management.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Support the Accounting & Finance department with reconciliations and financial analysis as needed.
Lead and mentor a small team of credit control professionals to achieve departmental goals.Profile
A successful Credit Control Manager should have:
Previous experience in credit control, preferably within the energy and natural resources sector.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using financial software and systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing accounts.Job Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000 per annum, plus quarterly bonus
