Montage Theatre Arts (MTA), a vibrant performing arts charity with a proud 27-year history, is recruiting a Creative Programme Coordinator to join our imaginative, industrious, and sociable team!
Montage Theatre Arts champions the transformative power of the performing arts, removing financial and social barriers to access. Each year we work with over 1,000 children and young people - developing their confidence, creativity and life skills through drama, dance, and singing in an inclusive and supportive environment.
This exciting and pivotal role ensures the smooth, safe and inspiring delivery of our programme of classes throughout the school year and holidays.
The role is varied, combining programme administration, pastoral care, facilitation, event and volunteer management, and student supervision. This is a hands-on, people-focused position, playing a key part in building our creative community and maintaining high safeguarding and health & safety standards.
Working hours are split between our Lewisham office, activity venues, and home. Regular evening and Saturday working are required during term time.
KEY INFORMATION:
Hours: 35 per week (Full Time, PAYE) - will consider a job share for exceptional candidates.

Salary: £29,000 – £31,000 p/a (depending on experience)
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days (+ 8 Statutory)
KEY DUTIES:
Oversee the day-to-day coordination and delivery of performing arts activities for children and young people
Act as first point of contact for students, parents, facilitators, and stakeholders; providing warm, student-focused support
Champion safeguarding and best practice in health & safety, ensuring legal compliance at all times
Manage event logistics (venue supervision, resources, registers, reporting, etc)
Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and work experience participants
Support staff and volunteers with policies, training and wellbeing
Liaise with parents/carers around medical needs and individual support, including for SEND students
Assist with collecting evaluative feedback for programme improvement
Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to developing new creative projects and outreach
Support or lead on performances, events and community activities
