Job Title: Crane Operator (Overhead Gantry)
Location: Barrow-In-Furness – Based on site full time
Requirements: Certificate from accredited body (eg NPORS,ECITB etc) – MUST HAVE Overhead Gantry Crane on certs/cards
What you'll be doing:
Lifting of loads
Confined spaces
Works safely at all times, complying with Health and Safety and other relevant regulations and guidelines, in accordance with training
Interprets information to confirm customer requirements
Selects and prepares consumables, materials, components and equipment
Cleaning, Providing temporary protection solutions
Checks the completed activity to ensure that all operations have been completed to meet the required specification
Your Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience for Crane Ops.
Must have relevant in-date certificates provided by an accredited body – NPORS / ECITB (as examples).
Experience and training certificates must be for overhead gantry cranes.
Additional information:
You will be required to start on a shift pattern, unless you are required to work nights- where you will complete a week of days to complete a risk assessment
Before starting you must hold FULL SC- Estimated minimum time scale for this is 6-8 weeks
Random drug test may be required prior to starting
