Role: Cover supervisor

Rate of pay: £500- £650 P/W

Location: Wednesbury

**About the role**

As a Cover Supervisor, , you will play a key part in supporting children with a variety of additional needs, ensuring they can access learning and reach their full potential. You will be supervising a whole class, in a primary setting during PPA time and teachers absence. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons and learning activities and managing classroom behaviour in line withe school policy. As a Cover Supervisor, you will also support pupils to remain on task and provide feedback to staff on lesson outcomes and pupil engagement. There is no planning involved with this role.

**Role Requirements**

Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school or care setting is essential Degree in education or equivalent qualification A patient, nurturing, and empathetic approach Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required Strong communication skills, both with pupils and staff A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (an enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education, is required) **Benefits of working with Connex**
