Cover Supervisors Needed – Tamworth

Positions Available: Long-term, short-term, and day-to-day rolesPay: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)

The Supply Register are seeking dynamic Cover Teachers to join our vibrant team. We welcome individuals with a range of backgrounds, from experienced teachers to those with experience in sports coaching, youth work, or other relevant fields, who are eager to expand their teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students stay on task and complete assigned work.
• Maintain classroom behaviour and create a positive, respectful learning environment.
• Support students with any questions or difficulties they may have while working on the lesson materials.
• Report any concerns or issues back to relevant staff, ensuring effective communication with the teaching team.
• Foster an inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom experience for all students.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
• Enhanced DBS: Must be registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to engage with students, staff, and colleagues.
• Behaviour Management: Confidence in managing student behaviour and keeping them engaged.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in different classrooms and subject areas.
• Positive Attitude: A proactive approach to supporting students and helping them stay on track with their learning.
