A Cover Supervisor is needed in an All Boys Secondary School in South East London.

This Cover Supervisor position can be part or full time and will be temporary in the first instance.

If appointed as a Cover Supervisor your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Covering different lessons independently in the absence of the regular class teachers
• Managing pupil behaviour in line with the schools policies
• Assisting pupils in completing the set work with materials and resources provided
• Providing handovers to the team in relation to pupils behaviour and learning

The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor post will be between £82.14 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

An All Boys Secondary School with Academy Status located in the London Borough of Bexley.

Pupil intake is for 11 to 16 year olds, with just over 1000 pupils on its enrolment.

The school holds Sports & Science College status.

There is a strong sense of community and everyone at the school has an innate determination to succeed.

Enrichment is a big focus of the school's, with clubs for Sports, Chess, Movies, Science, Religions, Board/Role Playing Games, Music and Computer Science.

Requirements

You're welcome to apply if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor.

All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this role as a Cover Supervisor:

• Right to work in the UK
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
• Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Cover Supervisor in UK Secondary schools
