Cover Supervisor – Sheffield

PK Education are currently looking for experienced Cover Supervisors to work across multiple secondary schools in Sheffield. We have part-time, full-time, and day-to-day roles available, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates seeking flexible work around studies or family commitments.

All roles are based within secondary schools in accessible locations, with good public transport links and on-site parking available. As a Cover Supervisor, you will have access to school resources, including pre-set work, and will be supported by teaching staff and senior leaders.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes of up to 30 students across a range of subjects. You will deliver pre-planned work set by the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. You will also manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment throughout the lesson.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for individuals who are available for at least 2 days per week and have experience working with young people, ideally within a classroom setting. You should be confident leading a class, have a calm and professional presence, and possess strong communication skills. A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable. The ability to manage behaviour in line with school policies and a good understanding of safeguarding are essential.
