Cover Supervisor – Chelmsford

Gold Education Recruitment is currently working with a number of secondary schools in Chelmsford, seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support with day-to-day and short-term classroom cover.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable experience in a school setting.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supervising classes across a range of subjects using pre-prepared lesson materials
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
• Supporting students to stay on task and engaged with their work
• Providing feedback to teaching staff at the end of lessons
• Following school policies and maintaining a professional presence
• Adapting to different schools and classroom environments

What We’re Looking For:

• Confident individuals with strong communication skills
• Experience working with young people is desirable
• A professional, reliable, and proactive attitude
• Good classroom presence and behaviour management skills
• Flexibility and willingness to work in different schools
• Graduates and aspiring teachers are encouraged to apply
