Requirements: Previous experience working with young people or in a leadership role. Strong verbal communication skills to give clear instructions. Ability to stay calm and professional in a busy school environment. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one. Key Duties: Take register and ensure all students are present at the start of the lesson. Lead secondary classes and deliver pre-planned work left by the teacher. Manage student behaviour to keep the classroom calm and safe. Answer student questions and help them complete their assigned tasks. Collect all completed work and resources at the end of the period. Leave a short note for the regular teacher about how the lesson went. Follow the school's behaviour policy to deal with any classroom disruptions.
