Overview Corporate Tax Senior - Cardiff Clark Wood are currently working with a highly regarded UK accountancy and advisory firm who are looking to recruit a Corporate Tax Senior to join their growing Business Tax team based in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward‑thinking and people‑focused practice that is known for delivering high‑quality compliance and advisory services to a broad client base, including owner‑managed businesses, large corporates, and international groups. Responsibilities

Involved in the preparation and review of corporation tax computations and returns, as well as supporting a range of advisory projects. Work closely with managers and partners, contributing to tax planning assignments such as capital allowances reviews, succession planning, profit extraction strategies, and employee incentivisation. Build strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact on day‑to‑day tax matters, and collaborate with colleagues across audit, accounts, and advisory teams to deliver a joined‑up service. Support and mentor junior team members, helping to maintain high technical and service standards within the department.

Qualifications

ACA / ACCA qualified and/or ATT or CTA qualified (or close to completion), with solid experience in UK corporate tax gained within an accountancy practice. Strong communication skills, good organisational ability, and a proactive, client‑focused approach. Experience with advisory work and interpreting financial accounts would be advantageous.
