Overview Corporate Tax Assistant Manager role at Grant Thornton UK. We are looking for a curious, self-motivated and enthusiastic professional with UK corporation tax experience to join our Corporate and Multinational tax team. Responsibilities
Advising a broad range of clients on tax issues, including compliance and advisory projects. Managing preparation of tax provisions and returns, ensuring deadlines and high client service. Preparing technical tax advisory reports. Supporting day-to-day client communications and, with the senior team, delivering client advisory solutions. Managing budgets, WIP and day-to-day running of client projects. Providing on-the-job coaching to junior team members.
Knowledge and requirements
Professional qualification (ATT, CTA, ACA, ICAS or ACA) with post-qualification experience, and the ability to manage a recurring portfolio of tax clients. UK corporation tax technical skills, including experience with both tax provisioning and advisory projects. Experience in preparing corporate tax computations, including awareness of Pillar 2, interest deductibility, CFC regime. Self-motivated and strong team player. Curious and driven to learn. Strong oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with Alphatax, Power BI, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
