Job Description

We are working with a leading international law firm who are seeking a Associate Solicitor to join their Corporate M&A practice within their Belfast office.


The Role

The successful candidate will join an globally recognised Corporate team, assisting in a range of corporate and commercial matters, often across multiple jurisdictions. Responsibilities include conducting large-scale due diligence projects, drafting due diligence reports, and drafting corporate and commercial documentation. The candidate will also support clients in corporate transactions, deal execution, joint ventures, post-merger integrations, and corporate governance.


The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.


Essential Criteria

  • 1-4 PQE;
  • Strong background in corporate and M&A within a medium to large commercial practice;
  • Excellent commercial awareness;
  • Outstanding academics;
  • Negotiation skills;
  • Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
