Corporate Associate – Manchester – Salary up to £80,000

The Corporate practice works with an impressive and diverse client base, advising on the full spectrum of corporate matters, from private M&A and strategic investments to restructures and joint ventures.

The Role

The firm is seeking a talented Corporate Associate to join its expanding Manchester team. This is a standout opportunity to get involved in high-quality transactional work for private companies and entrepreneurs, while working closely with a well-established national team.

You will play a central role in:

• Advising on private company acquisitions and disposals, including both share and asset transactions
• Supporting corporate restructurings, intra-group reorganisations and succession projects
• Drafting and negotiating shareholders’ agreements and investment documentation
• Assisting clients with joint ventures, corporate governance queries, share buy-backs, distributions and other general corporate matters
• Providing advice on day-to-day corporate issues and cultivating long-term client relationships
• Playing a role in business development initiatives and continued growth

The Candidate

• A 2+PQE Solicitor with experience in a reputable corporate team
• Strong expereince across M&A, corporate reorgs and general corporate advisory work
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy team
• A keen attitude to business development and excellent client service
