Corporate Lawyer - 5 PQE + London

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Corporate M&A lawyer with upwards of 5 years’ PQE to join their established and collaborative team.

This role offers the opportunity to work across the full spectrum of corporate M&A, investment and advisory matters spanning a wide range of sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role from the outset, taking responsibility for drafting and negotiating a variety of documents, including share and asset purchase agreements, shareholders’ and investment agreements, articles of association and other transactional documentation.

The role requires someone who can think creatively, produce high-quality drafting and contribute to the negotiation and delivery of mandates.

Given the firm’s international client base, a global outlook is important, and while experience in partnership/LLP law, share incentives or capital markets would be advantageous, it is not essential.

Candidates should bring strong academics and a broad background gained within a well-regarded corporate department, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The team is close-knit, so a collaborative mindset and strong people skills are essential, as is an enthusiastic and engaged approach.

The role suits someone confident in taking responsibility, building effective working relationships across the practice and managing client contact early on. Strong technical ability, solid drafting skills and a commercial, pragmatic outlook are all key to succeeding in this position.
