The Role


As Corporate Finance Director, you will play a pivotal strategic and commercial role within the firm’s CF division. Working closely with Partners, you’ll lead on complex engagements, originate new opportunities, and help shape the long‑term direction of the team.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Leading buy‑side and sell‑side M&A transactions across multiple sectors

  • Originating new business, nurturing networks, and contributing to firm‑wide BD strategy

  • Overseeing valuations, financial modelling, due diligence and strategic advisory projects

  • Managing and mentoring high‑performing Corporate Finance professionals

  • Acting as a senior relationship manager for key clients and private equity contacts

  • Supporting the development of service lines and operational improvements within the CF team


About You


The successful candidate will bring a strong track record within Corporate Finance and proven experience in executing and originating deals. We are seeking someone who is both commercially driven and people‑focused.


You will ideally have:



  • Extensive Corporate Finance/M&A/Deals experience within an accountancy practice or specialist advisory firm

  • A strong network and demonstrable deal‑origination success in the UK mid‑market

  • ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent), or significant relevant transactional experience

  • The ability to inspire, develop and lead teams

  • Strong technical knowledge paired with excellent commercial judgement

  • A consultative, credible approach when dealing with business owners, investors, and senior stakeholders
