PR & Communications Lead - Corporate - Permanent - Greater Reading/hybrid - Telecoms Infrastructure We’re seeking a senior Corporate Communications & PR Lead to protect and enhance the reputation of a major UK telecoms infrastructure organisation. This is a high‑profile role where you’ll shape corporate narrative, manage reputational risk, and lead engagement across media, government, communities, and industry stakeholders. The Role Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, you will:

Lead corporate affairs, PR, and external communications strategy Own issues management and crisis communications Act as a trusted advisor to the C‑suite on reputational risk Oversee internal communications and community engagement Manage PR agencies and key external partners

Protect and strengthen corporate reputation in a complex, high‑scrutiny environment Lead stakeholder engagement with media, local authorities, MPs, and community groups Manage communications around sensitive infrastructure delivery and public concerns Drive thought leadership across sustainability, digital inclusion, and social impact Ensure clear governance, consistency, and high‑quality messaging

About You

Proven leader in Corporate Communications / PR / Corporate Affairs Strong telecoms or infrastructure sector experience (essential) Expertise in crisis communications and issues management Experience working with government and public sector stakeholders Confident advising senior leadership and operating under pressure
