Full-Time Core Subject Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Secondary Schools | Bexley | 5 Days per Week

Are you an experienced and knowledgeable Learning Support Assistant with a strong background in core subjects? Do you have a passion for supporting students to reach their full academic potential? We are seeking a dedicated and motivated LSA to join welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Bexley.

This is a full-time, five-day-per-week role, offering the opportunity to work in a positive and well-structured school environment that values both staff and student development.

The Role: As a Core Subject LSA, you will play a key role in supporting students within the classroom, particularly in English, Maths, and/or Science. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted academic support, help deliver engaging learning experiences, and contribute to the overall progress and confidence of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class support across core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
• Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis to reinforce learning
• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and adapting materials where necessary
• Support students with varying abilities, including those requiring additional academic support
• Monitor and report on student progress

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant in a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge in at least one core subject
• A degree (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
