Pertemps Network Catering is looking for experienced Cooks and Chefs to join our busy temporary team. We proudly support a wide range of clients, including Schools, Colleges, and Residential Homes , and were looking for skilled professionals with a flexible approach to work.
We offer a variety of shifts Monday to Sunday , typically between 7am3pm and 10am6pm . Whether youre seeking full-time hours or part-time work to fit around other commitments, wed love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals for students and residents alongside established catering teams

Oversee food production and ensure high standards of cooking

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen environment

Manage and order stock to ensure fresh, high-quality ingredients are always available

Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to support smooth service

Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimise waste

Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any issues

Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations

Adapt menus to meet dietary requirements and allergen needs

Qualifications & Requirements GNVQ / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Catering or equivalent

Valid Food Hygiene Certificate

Strong knowledge of food allergens and experience working with dietary requirements

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete safeguarding vetting (essential for roles in vulnerable settings)
