We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cook to work for our client in Camden and surrounding areas.
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals while accommodating a variety of dietary requirements. This role requires strong kitchen skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities of Cook:
- Prepare, cook, and present meals in line with established recipes and standards
- Ensure all meals meet dietary requirements, including allergen awareness and special diets (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.)
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times
- Assist with menu planning, including adapting dishes for varied dietary needs
- Monitor food stock levels and support with ordering and stock rotation
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and equipment
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures
Working hours for Cook: Monday – Friday, 08:30am – 13:30pm
Requirements xrlawcv of Cook:
- Previous experience working as a cook or in a similar kitchen role
- Experience preparing meals for a range of dietary requirements and restrictions
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above)
- Experience in catering for large groups, or hospitality setting
