Cook (in a nursing home) Permanent 40 hours per week Bowdon,AltrinchamWA14 2LA £14.40 per hour Rated 9.9 / 10 by CareHome Rated OUTSTANDING by the CQC for being Caring Good CQC in all other areas The shift pattern is working 4 days a week on a 2 week rota including alternative weekends. The shifts are 07.30am to 18.00pm, so no late evenings or nights.
You will be working for a charitable organisation in an elderly care home, who put the needs of the 42 residents and its staff first, and whose person-centred approach to care relies on the dedication and passion of our employees.
OVERVIEW Working in a Residential Care Home, you will be responsible for delivering a high quality catering service, planning menus with residents which are varied and interesting to meet individual tastes and dietary requirements.
