Conveyancing Solicitor - Residential Property Location: Aldgate East, with occasional work at the London Bridge office. Office Based Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £35,000

Our client is a growing legal practice based in Aldgate East, London. They are seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor to join their residential property team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload and work with a diverse range of clients.

Position Overview

In this role, you will manage your own caseload of residential property transactions. You will be responsible for the entire conveyancing process. This includes sales, purchases, and remortgages.  Your work will directly support the practice's commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

Manage residential property sales and purchases. Oversee leasehold and freehold transactions. Process remortgages and transfers of equity. Complete Land Registry applications and title checks. Draft and review contracts and legal deeds. Handle shared ownership and new build purchases. Advise clients on Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT). Liaise with estate agents, lenders, and professionals. Requirements

1 to 5 years' Post-Qualification Experience (PQE). Proven experience in residential conveyancing is essential. Excellent communication and attention to detail. A collaborative approach to teamwork. Strong organisational skills to manage your caseload. Benefits
