Conveyancer / Solicitor / Legal Executive
Locations: Exmouth, Chard & Taunton
Salary: £35,000 £50,000 DOE
Type: Full-time (flexible working considered)
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established regional law firm who are continuing to grow their Conveyancing teams across Somerset and Devon.
The Roles
Exmouth & Chard
We are seeking Conveyancers / Junior Solicitors / Legal Executives who are confident managing their own caseload of residential conveyancing matters.

• Salary: £35,000 £45,000
• Ideal for fee earners looking to develop within a supportive team

Taunton
A more senior opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer or Solicitor, ideally with some exposure to supervising or mentoring a small team.

• Salary: £40,000 £50,000
• Opportunity to take on added responsibility within a growing department

Responsibilities

• Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
• Handling sales, purchases, and associated matters
• Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, and other parties
• Ensuring files are progressed efficiently and compliantly
• (Taunton role) Supporting and guiding junior team members

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Conveyancer
• Proven experience running a caseload independently
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Team-focused, professional, and client-driven approach
• For the Taunton role, some team management or mentoring experience is desirable

Working Arrangements

• Roles are ideally full-time and office-based
• Flexible working / some WFH can be considered for the right candidate
