CONTROLS / BMS / EMS ENGINEER UK (REMOTE/ PART TIME)£375 £425 per day (Outside IR35) | 23 Days per week| Contract or Permanent OptionWe are working with a leading engineering delivery specialist who are supporting over 40 live data centre projects across the UK and are looking to appoint an experienced Controls / BMS / EMS Engineer.This is a flexible opportunity offering a hybrid working model (23 days remote) with the option to remain on contract or transition into a permanent role long-term. You will play a key role in supporting the design, integration, and optimisation of BMS and EMS systems across multiple live and upcoming data centre projects.This is a great opportunity to work across a large portfolio of mission-critical sites, contributing to high-performance, energy-efficient environments.The RoleSupport the design, configuration, and integration of BMS and EMS systemsWork across multiple data centre projects providing remote technical supportAssist with commissioning, testing, and optimisation of control systemsInterface with site teams, commissioning engineers, and project stakeholdersTroubleshoot and resolve controls-related issues across live environmentsSupport energy monitoring, reporting, and system performance improvementsReview technical documentation, drawings, and control strategiesEnsure systems align with project specifications and client requirementsProvide input into system upgrades, improvements, and innovation initiativesAbout YouStrong background in BMS / EMS / Controls EngineeringExperience working on data centre or mission-critical projectsKnowledge of HVAC controls, electrical systems, and automationExperience with systems such as Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Schneider, or similarStrong troubleshooting and fault-finding skillsComfortable working remotely while supporting multiple projectsGood communication skills and ability to engage with site teamsJBRP1_UKTJ
